VOCYL Recipient of Two Awards

CLBC & United Way Honour VOCYL

VOCYL (Victoria Opportunities for Community Youth Leadership) jointly supported by Community Living Victoria and CanAssist at the University of Victoria were the recipients of two awards during the second week of May. CLBC honoured VOCYL with a WOW award which stands for “Widening our World” and is meant to reflect the contributions groups and individuals make towards ensuring community inclusion for all people. Check out their website at communitylivingbc.ca to see a video about VOCYL and the other recipients. Additionally, VOCYL received a “Youth Now” award from the United Way of Victoria’s Youth Advisory Council. This award was given to recognize the valuable contribution VOCYL has made to the youth in our community. Keep up the good work VOCYL!
